The purpose of the camps is to expose Virginia high school and collegiate rugby players to the latest techniques and coaching skills that are being taught to the top players in the world. Players will also understand the necessary skill sets and mental and physical toughness that is required to advance in a high performance sport like rugby. The Play To Win program is suited to all athletes looking at rugby as a new sport and players who are looking to advance their game through college preparation. The coaching staff has a proven approach designed specifically to meet the unique needs of the developing player in today's game.
Run by a staff of professional coaches and players, these two-day camps are a MUST for all young men interested in improving their game and learning more about the sport worldwide. The low player to coach ratio, an opportunity to talk personally with international players about their experiences and a focus on team dynamics are also highlights of our camps.
The opportunity is here for you to come learn, work towards your goals in rugby, and make new friends! As a young player interested in rugby, the Play To Win program offers you unparalleled development in rugby techniques, fitness and tactics.
Cleats (boots) and mouth piece are a MUST. You must also be CIPP registered (which can be done at the field). Wear weather-appropriate comfortable athletic clothes (ideally dressed in a rugby shirt) and also bring a water bottle, a light snack and sunscreen.
