Girls Soccer: Woodgrove to Hold Signing Ceremony for Six Headed to College Ranks; 3 Other Juniors Make Verbals!

(Jan. 31, 2012) - Woodgrove High School will hold a signing ceremony and celebration on Feb. 8 for six girls soccer players that will play in college next year: Katie Beebe (Longwood), Lexi Clarke (Stony Brook), Lucy Etro (Wofford), Addie Healy (Washington and Lee), Tabitha McHale (UNC Greensboro) and Charlotte Ratcliff (Coastal Carolina). If that wasn't enough talent for the Wolverines, three other junior soccer players have already made verbal commitments to play in college: Brittany Basinger (Penn State), Bergen Elkjer (Indiana State) and Sarah Hardison (George Mason).

The six seniors will be honored in a celebration that starts at 4 p.m. in the Woodgrove library.  During and after the event there will be a jewelry show in the library that will raise funds for the girls soccer program.
